No. The Notus Plus systems connect to the 24/7 monitoring center wirelessly using 4G LTE connections. You are not required to have a landline or internet connection to use this service. All is needed is a power outlet to charge the device and you are good to go.
How much does Star Alert Cost?
The monthly fee for the standard service is $29.95/month. The fall detection option added is $34.95/month and includes all the options as with the standard service. These fees pay for the 24/7 monitoring that will send help when you need it. Either service requires a $49.95 installation fee to cover the cost of our professional installation.
Do all calls for help go to First Responders?
No. You have the ability to contact friends and family for assistance if it is not a medical emergency that requires First Responders.
